Double glazed windows have two panes of glass with a sealed air or gas gap between them. This significantly improves thermal insulation — keeping your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer — and reduces outside noise. For properties in the Blue Mountains where temperatures can be extreme, double glazing is often a worthwhile upgrade.
